If you are interested in teaching, here are some ways we recommend to get started:

  • Teach your own children using our SmallBasic recipes.  It’s a great place to start
  • Volunteer to teach at an event or an after-school program at your local school.  We did this for one hour per week using our library (for 14 weeks).
  • Volunteer to teach at a Microsoft DigiGirlz event world-wide
  • Create your own event!  One computer for each two kids (pair program), grab our recipes from the web, and download / configure SmallBasic and you are ready to go.

We are working on creating a directory of teachers world-wide (below is a partial list – notify me (Lynn Langit) to get specific teacher contact information.

To our knowledge, TKP events have been taught in the locations listed below in 2010 / 2011.  The map shows (broadly) areas of TKP teacher coverage in the world.
